Adam Lallana has been pictured making his first Liverpool appearance today in a behind closed doors friendly against Wolves.
Liverpool ran out 1-0 winners against the Championship side and Lallana would have been happy with his performance - as he got on the scoresheet.
It would have been a goal which has pushed him further towards starting contention after non-ideal circumstances following his move from Southampton this summer.
The England international picked up a a serious knee injury during pre-season, but appears to be edging closer to full-fitness and could be in-line for a start when the squad return from the international break.
Lallana has not featured, even on the substitutes' bench, in any of the Reds opening three fixtures, because of the set-back, but his debut cannot be too far away now.
Liverpool's next fixture is against an unbeaten Aston Villa side on September 13th and Lallana will be targeting making his Anfield bow during the match.
Mario Balotelli, Fabio Borini and Suso were all also involved in today's friendly win.
