Let's go for reeducation. No pain, no gain! See you soon :-) pic.twitter.com/uWqaiGPh65— Marouane Fellaini (@fellainiM) September 5, 2014
Belgium international Marouane Fellaini has posted a picture of himself exercising ahead of his bid to return to fitness.
The 26-year-old United midfielder is currently out injured but is expected to return within two to three weeks.
While tweeting the picture, Fellaini used the phrase 'no pain, no gain,' one his new manager Louis van Gaal is no doubt a fan of.
Robin van Persie
The Dutch duo are said to have become close friends during the World Cup, when Van Gaal managed Van Persie in the Netherlands' national team.
However, Van Persie reportedly became frustrated when his coach kept substituting him during matches.
And now, the 31-year-old's relationship with Van Gaal is said to have become even more strained after the Deadline-Day signing of Radamel Falcao.
Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney could be set to play as an out-and-out striker for England at Switzerland.
A thigh injury has ruled Daniel Sturridge out of the Three Lions' opening Euro 2016 qualifier, meaning Rooney may be asked by boss Roy Hodgson to play as a striker, instead of in the no.10 role.
The 28-year-old, who is also captain of his country, scored England's only goal during their 1-0 win over Norway on Wednesday night from the penalty spot.
