Leeds United's new trio of signings - Adryan, Brian Montenegro and Dario Del Fabro - are set to make their debuts against Ipswich Town Under-21s.
Leeds United are hoping to use three of their new recruits for the first time in their Under-21 match against Ipswich Town on Monday.
Adryan, Brian Montenegro and Dario Del Fabro all arrived late on during the transfer window and are yet to be make their first Leeds appearance, but it could come in the youth-level match.
According to Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post, all three are set to play, if Leeds can sort out their international clearance.
Adryan has international clearance. Leeds waiting to receive it for Montenegro/Del Fabro and want all 3 to play for U21s v Ipswich on Mon— Phil Hay (@PhilHayYEP) September 5, 2014
Whilst Adryan has been granted his international clearance, the Whites are still waiting for Montenegro and Del Fabro to be given theirs.
If they do not receive international clearance over the weekend, then the plans will obviously have to change, but the hope is that there will be no such complications.
If the trio are utilised, then they will all be hoping to make an impression and force their way into starting contention for the first team.
Leeds take on Birmingham City in their next competitive match on September 13th and there is a renewed sense of vigour around Elland Road.
The positivity stems from the fact that David Hockaday has been sacked as the manager and the new era has already started well.
Neil Redfearn, who has been placed in temporary charge of the club, guided the Yorkshire side to only their second win of the season against Bolton Wanderers last Saturday, and he will be looking to build on that now.
The three summer signings should help in this mission, too. Montenegro and Adryan are expected to add some South American style and creativity to the club following their moves, whilst Del Fabro is a highly-rated youngster who has joined on loan from Cagliari.
