The 18-year-old centre-back has already been a key part of the under-21’s back four this season.

He’s a tall and composed player who has only ever known Newcastle United so he has that identity with the club and the team. Pardew could introduce him to the fringes of the squad, eventually bringing him into the first team.

Rolando Aarons

Two Premier League games already this season and the 18-year-old has already bagged his first goal. The midfielder is already featuring firmly in Alan Pardew's plans and it will be interesting to see how he copes once sides find ways of dealing with him and keeping him quiet.

Dan Barlaser

Barlaser is a tall, quick and skilful winger who could be used in an attacking role down either side of the team.

He cites Cristiano Ronaldo as one of his heroes on Newcastle United’s website and could become popular with the club’s support base for his exciting and direct style of play.
