The Spanish left-back says he wants the Reds to become European champions this season.
Not only did he score a wondergoal against Tottenham - and then dedicate it to the Anfield faithful - the Spaniard has now targeted Champions League glory in his first season on Merseyside.
It is an ambitious target, with the Reds only just returning to Europe's top table after several years away from the Champions League.
But, as their historic 2005 triumph in Istanbul seemed to prove, if anyone can defy the odds on the continent, it is Liverpool. And that's exactly what Moreno, who moved to Anfield for £12 million this summer, wants to do.
"Playing in the Champions League is going to be amazing," Moreno told Liverpool's official website.
"It's all new for me and I'm really looking forward to it.
"Plus, we have Real Madrid at Anfield and I'll be wearing Liverpool's colours... It's going to be a unique experience.
"I saw the trophy at Melwood and I got goose bumps. Hopefully we can win it this year. Hopefully that day will come."
As well as Real Madrid, Brendan Rodgers' side have been drawn with FC Basel and FC Ludogorets in Group B.
Liverpool will kick off their Champions League campaign against Ludogorets at Anfield - on Tuesday September 16th.
