John Guidetti’s loan move to Celtic from Manchester City has finally been confirmed. The Scottish champions announced on Thursday evening that they have secured the services of the 22-year-old striker on a season-long loan deal from their English counterparts.
The Sweden international’s future was in limbo since Monday night after the paperwork from Celtic was not filed before deadline.
However, the move has now been ratified by FIFA, and Guidetti will play for the Glasgow-based outfit this season.
The youngster is delighted to have finally signed for Celtic on loan and is looking forward to getting start at Celtic Park, posting the following message on social networking site Twitter.
Guidetti has been on the books of City since he was 16 years of age, but so far he has failed to make an impression in the first team.
