The Belgian forward will link up with the side next summer after a loan spell at Lille.
The 19-year-old is spending the season on loan at the Ligue 1 club before making the move to Merseyside next summer in order to get some more game time under his belt.
Next term he is likely to face stiff competition amongst the strikers with Daniel Sturridge established at the Reds - whilst new signing Mario Balotelli will be hoping to nail down a place in Brendan Rodgers' starting XI.
Origi told Sky Sports: "I'll go there with a lot of patience and I know I'm going to learn a lot off the great players, there.
"They welcomed me very, very well. They showed me a little bit about the club, about the history, the philosophy, so it was very interesting. At the end I think it was the right choice."
His talent was on display during the World Cup with Belgium as he made quite an impression, especially as a substitute. Origi will have an opportunity to shine on Merseyside prior to linking up with the Reds when Lille face Everton in the group stages of the Europa League.
Will Origi be a success at Anfield?
