Chelsea and Manchester United stars are expected to feature in this repeat of the World Cup final.
Germany: Neuer - Grosskreutz, Ginter, Höwedes, Durm - Kramer, Kroos - Schürrle, Reus, Draxler - Gomez
Argentina: Romero, Zabaleta, Fernández, Demichelis, Rojo, Pérez, Mascherano, Biglia, Lamela, Di Maria, Aguero
Argentina have a chance to take some revenge against world champions following their defeat to Jorgi Low’s side in the World Cup final in Brazil earlier this summer. Germany were the most consistent side at the World Cup and rightly took the title.
Germany head into the game as favourites in an evening where Low could use several players ahead of the start of Germany’s European Championship qualifying campaign.
The Germans will be one of the favourites for that title and a win here will further shorten their odds to add that title to their World Cup crown.
Argentina could also experiment with some changes but they have match winners all over their squad.
The margin of the defeat they suffered to Germany in that World Cup final was slender (1-0) and there is real incentive for the team to perform in Germany’s back yard and make a real point.
