Erik Lamela played with Sandro for just one season at Tottenham Hotspur, but it appears that the Brazilian still made an impression on the youngster.
Following Sandro’s departure from Spurs to Queens Park Rangers on a three-year contract on transfer deadline day, Argentina international winger Lamela took to Instagram to post the following photo with the message: ‘All the best for you... Thanks for always helping me at all... big friend! Todo lo mejor para vos , gracias por todo’.

Brazil international midfielder Sandro joined Spurs from Internacional in 2010 and proved to be a good player for the North London club.
The 25-year-old scored three goals in 81 Premier League appearances, but he struggled with injuries during his time at White Hart Lane.
In total, Sandro made 106 appearances for Tottenham, but did not feature in any match under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The Brazilian was a popular figure in the Tottenham dressing room and also among the fans of the club, but perhaps it was the right time for him to move on.
