Tony Fernandes reveals one of his favourite summer deals at QPR

Queens Park Rangers' chairman has revealed one of his favourite deals of the latest transfer window.

Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has revealed what he feels is one of his clubs signings of the summer.

QPR were busy on transfer deadline day, bringing in Sandro from Tottenham Hotspur and Nico Kranjcar on loan from Dynamo Kiev, although they were thwarted in their bid to bring a new striker to Loftus Road despite agreeing a £10million deal with Liverpool for Fabio Borini.

Earlier this summer the likes of Steven Caulker and Rio Ferdinand arrived at the club, and yet it is another signing that Fernandes has singled out as one of his favourites.

Taking to Twitter shortly after the transfer window closed, the QPR supremo wrote, “Long transfer window.  One of my favourites was Jack Robinson from Liverpool who we put out on loan."

QPR signed Robinson from Liverpool on a four-year deal, before immediately loaning him to Huddersfield Town. But the 21-year-old had a great reputation at Liverpool and many expect him to ultimately make it to the top.
