Sebastian Giovinco is sticking with Juventus despite a number of sides reportedly wanting to try and lure him before the transfer window closed.
The diminutive Italian international didn't have the best of 2013-14 campaigns as he spent most of the season on the sidelines while Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente formed a lethal combination.
Arsenal have been frequently linked with Giovinco since last January and there were reports that the Gunners had launched a last-gasp bid for the forward.
However, in the final hours of the transfer window nothing emerged and it is now being suggested that Giovinco rejected the possibility of signing for Arsenal.
Inter were suggested to be keen on a move but they instead tried to move for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, but were stopped by the failure to sell midfielder Fredy Guarin.
Giovinco has reportedly stated his definite desire to stay put because of the respect that new coach Massimiliano Allegri has shown him after his tough time under Antonio Conte.
It appears that Arsenal's interest was stopped at the first stage and so the London club never reached the bid stage and they ended up focussing their attentions on Danny Welbeck.
