New Tottenham Hotspur duo in training.
New Tottenham Hotspur duo Benjamin Stambouli and Federico Fazio have been pictured together in training for the first time.
Fazio clinched his move to White Hart Lane last week from Sevilla, while Stambouli's transfer from Montpellier was only finalised on deadline day.
Stambouli appeared excited at his new surroundings, telling Tottenham's website: "I’m discovering the Training Centre, it’s amazing. I know the size of the club and I’m happy and proud to join.
“It’s a dream to play in the Premier League and with Tottenham, it adds another dimension. I know that and I know the chance I have, so I will take it and I will give everything for the club, the team, the players and the whole club.”
Neither player made their respective international squads for Argentina and France, and Spurs are benefiting by getting both players immersed into life at the club.
After a frustrating 3-0 loss at home to Liverpool in their last Premier League game, the new faces will add new impetus and give a lift to a Spurs side who have plenty of positives to take from their previous two wins over QPR and West Ham.
