Manchester United fans may not have seen Marcos Rojo in action for their team so far this season, but they could find him play for Argentina on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old defender has been included in new coach Gerardo Martino’s 21-man squad for their friendly international against Germany.
Rojo has yet to make an appearance for United since joining them from Sporting Lisbon for £16 million last month.
The versatile player, who can play both as a left-back and as a centre-back, has not yet received his rights to work in the UK.
But that will not be a problem for Rojo when he lines up against Germany in Dusseldorf in a rematch of the 2014 World Cup final on Wednesday.
The former Estudiantes de La Plata star has been training with his teammates and posted the following photo on Instagram along with the message: ‘Back with the national team, nice to see everyone again. In the first session this afternoon with my friend @enzonicolasep’.
