PHOTOS: Sandro poses in QPR colours for the first time

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is now a confirmed Queens Park Rangers midfielder, as Harry Redknapp completes a deadline day deal.

Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of Brazil international Sandro, 25, who leaves Tottenham Hotspur after four years of service.

It was Harry Redknapp who initially bought the midfielder to White Hart Lane and, in a transfer repeat, the English coach has once again bought the player dubbed "the beast".

On the qualities Sandro will add to the side banking on Premier League survival this season, Redknapp said: "He brings energy, aggression, power and quality. They call him the Beast.

"He’s not only a top quality footballer, but a fantastic boy as well. He’ll lead by example for us."

Sandro, who will wear the number 30 shirt, commented: "I like new challenges and this is one I’m really looking forward to.

"I will give everything on the pitch and fight for every minute. I’m ready and raring to go."
