PHOTO: What Arsenal trio did for fun on transfer deadline day

Arsenal stars Jack Wilshere, Calum Chambers and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain did not seem preoccupied with transfer deadline day.

The transfer deadline day has been hectic with many Premier League clubs making last-minute signings, but three Arsenal players and a Liverpool star seem to have escaped all the fuss.

Arsenal stars Jack Wilshere, Calum Chambers and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all watched a movie on Monday, along with Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph and Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.

All the aforementioned players are part of the England national team that will take on Norway and Switzerland in the coming days. Roy Hodgson’s squad had their first training session at London Colney on Monday ahead of the two games.

Chambers, Delph and Sturridge all undertook light recovery sessions indoors as they were involved in Premier League matches on Sunday.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is carrying a knock and did not train, while his Arsenal teammate Wilshere trained normally.

Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck is also part of the England squad, but if recent reports are to be believed, then he could well become an Arsenal player by tomorrow.
