Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez has been photographed ahead of his Real Madrid medical.
The Mexico international is reportedly set for a season-long loan move to the Spanish capital after being deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
Earlier reports had suggested that United want Real to pay all Hernandez's £90,000-a-week wages although it remains to be seen if that has been agreed.
With reports that United have agreed a loan move of their own - for Monaco forward Radamel Falcao - it would be an outstanding and unexpected piece of business if Louis van Gaal gives Hernandez to the very club previously linked with a move for the Colombian.
Both moves are yet to be confirmed, but it seems Hernandez at least is very close to finalising a surprise switch to La Liga where he will be hoping to rediscover the form he showed in his first season at United.
Back then he seemed like an absolute bargain at just £7million, but in recent times he has struggled for minutes and has seen his form dip as a result.
