Karim El-Ahmadi has completed a move to Feyenoord and has been pictured with his new club's shirt.
The midfielder has rejoined his former club, after a disappointing spell in England since moving to the country two years ago.
The Moroccan has been linked with a move back to the Eredivisie, where he made his name before his move to the Premier League, for much of the summer so far and he has completed his switch on the final day before the transfer window slams shut.
The 29-year-old made 51 appearances over the course of his two seasons with Paul Lambert's side, but has slipped down the pecking order and, as a result, was forced to leave.
El-Ahmadi's departure could speed up the process of Villa bringing in another central-midfielder, with Tom Cleverley rumoured to be close to a switch to the Midlands club.
