A former fox-in-the-box at Manchester United, Chicharito now attempts to make an impact at Real Madrid, according to the latest transfer news.
Real Madrid have uploaded a photograph of former Manchester United super-sub Javier Hernandez undergoing his medical examination ahead of his transfer to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu side.
The club's official website confirmed that the Mexican striker passed two tests at Sanitas La Moral hospital: "Hernandez passed his cardiorespiratory and musculoskeletal tests satisfactorily."
Having long been a tertiary choice striker at Manchester United, behind favoured forwards Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie, Hernandez will unlikely unseat Karim Benzema from being first choice under Carlo Ancelotti's stewardship at Real.
His role was even reiterated by the Spanish press as MARCA branded him a "deluxe sub".
The Spanish publication though is under no illusions over the Mexican's threat when he has the ball inside the penalty area: "Everyone knows what Hernandez brings when he comes on from the bench," one report stated.
A statement on Manutd.com earlier confirmed the one year loan deal which includes an option to buy at the end of the duration of the temporary contract.
