George Boyd has been unveiled by Burnley’s latest signing and he was all smiles in his first picture at his new club.
Boyd was photographed wearing his new side’s shirt whilst holding up a club scarf, after completing a move for a reported £3 million fee from Hull City earlier today.
The left-winger has signed a three-year-deal at Turf Moor and will be expected to make an impact straight away.
A mercurial talent, Boyd has the ability to light-up Burnley and he certainly adds the presence of a match-winner to the squad.
The 28-year-old had seen himself slip down the pecking order at Hull, and was considered as back-up player, but reports are he is set to become a key man in Lancashire.
Sean Dyche will be hoping that the former Peterborough United man, who is widely regarded as the best player to ever perform at London Road, can slot straight into his side as they look to upset the odds and survive in the Premier League.
Boyd will wear the number 21 shirt for the Clarets.
Will Boyd be a success at Turf Moor?
