Daniel Agger has posed in a Brondby shirt after completing his £3million move back to Denmark.
The former Liverpool player wrote an open letter to fans following his departure, saying that he was honoured to be a part of the Reds for so long; and now he has returned to the side that he left for Liverpool back in 2006.
That deal cost the Reds a reported £5.8million and now he has headed back for around half that amount.
His playing-time at Anfield was set to be limited following the arrival of Dejan Lovren and the fact that both Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho are also at the club.
But the decision to leave was clearly one Agger did not make lightly and Liverpool fans are sure to wish him well as he begins this next stage of his career.
At 29 he still has much to offer and Brondby have got a great deal for the Danish international who has now returned home.
