Arsenal star Lukas Podolski has been putting his slow start to the season at the Gunners behind him, training with Germany.
Despite barely featuring so far in 2014/15, he has retained his place in the German national squad, and much to the relief of Arsenal fans, was not involved in the drama of transfer deadline day.
In the run up to the deadline, Podolski had been linked with moves to clubs including Juventus and Galatasaray, but an injury to Olivier Giroud ended any suggestion Arsenal could sell the attacker.
He posted a photo on his Instagram page on deadline day, training alongside Mario Gomez and Julian Draxler.
Gomez was recalled to the squad after missing the World Cup, while Draxler will be hoping he can step out of the shadows and into the limelight in the run up to Euro 2016.
It was not long ago that he was being linked with a blockbuster switch to Arsenal, but the German attacker has fallen off the club's radar.
He has had a quiet start to the season with Schalke so far, with no goals or assists in his opening two Bundesliga games, with only a yellow card to show for it.
There is a huge £37 million release clause in Draxler's contract, but at only 20-years-old clubs would be paying for potential rather than proven top level ability.
This is the season he needs to begin delivering upon that hype, and who knows, interest from Arsenal could just resurface in future transfer windows.
