Midfielder Marco Crimi will not be moving to Leeds United.

Leeds United have been focusing transfer interest towards Italy since Massimo Cellino took over as owner.

The club confirmed the addition of defender Dario del Fabro last week from Cagliari, but one player who won't be following is Latina's Marco Crimi.

The midfielder has been linked to Leeds since June, but no agreement has been reached with club or player.

Now Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio reports that Crimi has now had to rule out the possibility of signing with the Championship side.

The midfielder is co-owned by Grosetto and Latina, two sides in Serie B, and is a former Italy under-21 international.

Di Marzio reports Massimo Cellino wanted to offer Crimi a three-year deal, but Latina had rejected the advances.
