A selection of the latest transfer news surrounding Liverpool Football Club this Monday morning.
Liverpool are trying to pull off a move for goalkeeper Victor Valdes according to journalist Tony Barrett from the Times.
He reports that the Reds are prepared to wait until the autumn for the former Barcelona goalkeeper to prove his fitness after he suffered a knee injury last season. Valdes is now a free agent.

Manager Brendan Rodgers hinted after yesterday's 3-0 win over Tottenham that there could be one more player to arrive at the club, and the only area the Reds haven't strengthened this summer is in the goalkeeping department.
The Reds' boss said: "Maybe one more will come in. A few boys have been told they aren't going to get much game time so they have been given that respect early on to help themselves find a club."
The Uruguayan defender hasn't had regular game time since he signed for the club in 2011, and the Reds are prepared to sanction his move to the Stadium of Light, with Sunderland prepared to offer the centre-back regular game time.
Liverpool accepted a £14 million bid for Borini back in July and the decision over his future was left to the player, with the Italian appearing reluctant to head to the Stadium of Light on a permanent deal.
Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is quoted, saying: "I still want him. I know Fabio. I am a believer that when you know the player and you know what you get, and you are convinced that is the right player with the right mentality, I'll wait whatever is needed for a player like that."
