Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has tweeted a message regarding Radamel Falcao's proposed move to Manchester United.
It has been widely claimed that the Colombian striker will arrive at Old Trafford on a season-long loan; and yet Balague claims Falcao's agents insist he has already been bought outright.
The Spaniard's tweet read: "Falcao's agents insist he's been bought for €65million for four years. Loan deal first for FFP reasons?"
The second part of that tweet is pure speculation, while Balague went on to suggest that the most likely scenario was that United have the option to buy the Monaco front-man in a year.
But if Balague is to be believed in regards to Falcao's agents' alleged claims, United may have already secured the 28-year-old for far longer than a single season.
For now speculation is all there is, but it is spreading like wildfire, and it would be a huge surprise now if Falcao was not a United player - at least temporarily - by the end of the day.
