Young Gun Ryo Miyaichi will reportedly link up with FC Twente on a season long loan.

Eredivisie hopefuls FC Twente have reportedly tied up a deal that sees young Arsenal forward Ryo Miyaichi join their cause on a season-long loan deal, according to the latest deadline day news.

De Telegraaf claim the exclusive, with 21-year-old Japan star Miyaichi "rented from Arsenal for a year" in a three way battle that included other prominent Dutch clubs like Heerenveen and Feyenoord.

Telesport editors said: In season the 2010-11 season, Miyaichi played for Feyenoord. In that period, he left a great impression at De Kuip… Ryo [will] play for FC Twente next season."

Despite a clutch of loan spells that also include stints at Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic, Miyaichi has struggled to break into the senior set-up at Arsenal.

Despite a dearth of quality options up front, Arsene Wenger remains loathe to use Miyaichi.

Olivier Giroud is currently sidelined with an ankle fracture that will keep him occupied in the physio's room until 2015. Should Arsenal fail to secure a replacement on deadline day, then Yaya Sanogo and Alexis Sanchez are expected to vie for the primary centre forward's role.
