Derby County have signed Tom Koblenz, the club have announced.
Steve McClaren, head coach at the Rams, said: “I am pleased that Tom Koblenz sees his future at Derby County and I would like to welcome him to the Club.
“We are building for the future and Tom is another young player who will benefit hugely from working with the Under 21 Development Squad, alongside a number of exciting young prospects.”
Koblenz is 19-years-old and is a defensive midfielder. He has made three appearances for Derby's under-21 side, featuring against Arsenal, Middlesbrough and Stoke.
He had previously been part of the youth set up at Hoffenheim, scoring once and providing four assists for their under-19 team in 39 appearances, winning the national title in their age group.
