The company renovates two of its horror titles for PC
Delving into the back-catalogue and pulling out a couple of classics for horror fans, Atari announced in August they’d be bringing back Alone in the Dark and Haunted House. Now the first teases have surfaced at PAX 2014 along with some details for the games
The Alone in the Dark remake. subtitled Illumination re-imagines the 1992 game adding ‘the power of illumination.’ There’s to be a cooperative multiplayer mode with the game, in which players get to choose from Hunter, Witch, Engineer and Priest classes.
Haunted House: Cryptic Graves revisits the 1980s Atari 2600 game as a first person single player where you get to use psychic abilities to decipher eldritch clues and fight the evils that lurk about the Abbadon Grange estate.
Both Alone in the Dark: Illumination and Haunted House: Cryptic Graves are currently set to release in autumn 2014
