Hector Bellerin may be on the books of Arsenal now, but he still has attachment to his old club Barcelona.
The 19-year-old defender moved to the Gunners in the summer of 2011 from the Spanish club’s youth academy and is believed to have a bright future.
The Spaniard has yet to make a Premier League appearance for Arsenal, but he is destined to do so sometime this season.
While he bids his time to make an impression on the Emirates Stadium faithful, Bellerin has been following Barcelona and was quick to congratulate his former youth-team teammate Sandro Ramirez for scoring on his debut on Sunday.
The 19-year-old forward replaced Pedro in the 70th minute for Barcelona against Villarreal at El Madrigal in La Liga and scored just 12 minutes later with a simple tap-in from a Lionel Messi pass.
It proved to be the winning goal and maintained Barca’s winning start to the league campaign, leading Bellerin to hail Ramirez on social networking site Twitter.
