7pm Deadline Day news: Falcao in Manchester, Welbeck medical, Bony staying

Manchester United, Aston Villa, Everton, Swansea City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland all feature.

Breaking News

Radamel Falcao touched down in Manchester shortly before 6pm. The Colombian has reached Carrington for a medical, with the Telegraph claiming that Manchester United will pay his £346,000-per-week Monaco wages in full this season.

Aston Villa may have pulled out of the race for United's Tom Cleverley, with Everton stepping up to fill the void - looking to take him on loan. It remains to be seen if United are willing to cover a portion of the Englishman's wages.

Swansea City can breathe easy about Wilfried Bony's future. The Ivorian's agent confirmed to Sky Sports that he will remain with the Swans this season, as negotiations with both Tottenham Hotspur and Monaco came to nothing.

Ongoing Developments

Fabio Borini's proposed move to QPR appears to have hit a snag. The Daily Mail have claimed that Liverpool are not entirely satisfied with the £10m base fee proposed, whilst the Italian is yet to agree personal terms with the Loftus Road outfit.

Arsenal appear to have overtaken Tottenham in the Danny Welbeck sweepstakes, with the forward desiring Champions League football. The Gunners have reportedly agreed a £6m loan fee, with a medical already underway, according to Sky Sports. However, other news outlets have claimed that a deal is far from complete.

Alvaro Negredo looks to be inching close to the exit door at the Etihad Stadium. The Spaniard is expected to join Valencia on loan from Manchester City with the option to make the deal permanent, having been heavily linked with deadline day return to La Liga.

Sandro's medical at Queens Park Rangers is currently underway, according to the Daily Mail, with the deal set to be announced at 8.30pm. The club remain locked in talks for Jermain Defoe, whilst Leicester City are also working to bring in the 31-year-old.

Done Deals

Liverpool have confirmed that Sebastian Coates has joined Sunderland on loan.

Benjamin Stambouli has officially joined Tottenham from Montpellier in a £4.7 million deal, Spurs having seen off competition from Fiorentina for his signature.

Valentin Roberge has left Sunderland on season-long loan, signing with French club Stade de Reims.
