Lip-staining balms which leave you looking fresh and cool are a must for every handbag
I’ve always worn tinted lip balm, so I know what I like, what I don’t like… you know? For reasons of hygiene I detest pots (too many friends trying to get their grubby fingers in) and I don’t want anything that just slides off (the good stuff is like the difference between butter and lard). But that’s OK, because over the years lip balms have improved. These days they look like posh lipsticks and stain your lips much more than before. For colour and staying power Rodial’s Glamsticks (£25, rodial.co.uk) are hard to beat, but for subtlety that lasts (a rare thing) Clinique’s newest line is the Chubby Stick Baby Tints (£17, clinique.co.uk). Who doesn’t like Chubby Babies?
