Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Yaya Sanogo’s performance against Leicester City

Arsenal v Dortmund

Arsenal supporters took to Twitter to have their say on Yaya Sanogo’s display against Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Arsenal’s underwhelming start to the 2014-15 Premier League campaign continued on Sunday, as they played out a 1-1 draw with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The Gunners headed into the contest as the favourites and took the lead in the 20th minute through Alexis Sanchez. Two minutes later Leicester equalised as Leonardo Ulloa headed home from close range, and the match finished with the sides sharing the spoils.

Most of the Arsenal players were disappointing against Nigel Pearson’s home team, but Yaya Sanogo stood out. The French youngster was making his second start of the Premier League season, but once again he failed to score.

The 21-year-old joined the North London club last summer on a free transfer after his contract with French club Auxerre ran out at the end of last season.

Sanogo is still young and developing, but that did not stop the Arsenal fans from criticising his performance against Leicester.

The youngster did indeed have a disappointing match against the newly-promoted Premier League outfit, although some of the Arsenal fans spoke out supporting him.

Below is a selection of the tweets posted by the Arsenal fans on Twitter. We have also included some tweets from supporters of other clubs to gauge their reaction to Sanogo’s display.
