Newcastle United and Crystal Palace drew 3-3 at St James' Park on Saturday.
Newcastle United and Crystal Palace played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at St James' Park with Wilfried Zaha earning the Eagles a point with a late leveller.
The Manchester United loanee has failed to set the Premier League alight thus far, after a frustrating time at Old Trafford. But it took him just over 20 minutes to net on his return to the club where he made his name.
Dwight Gayle had opened the scoring in the very first minute of the match, with Daryl Janmaat equalising for the Magpies eight minutes before the interval. A fine strike from Jason Puncheon put the visitors back into the lead and that was how the match stayed until the 73rd minute, when substitute Rolando Aarons scored Newcastle's second.
Mike Williamson put Alan Pardew's men ahead with just two minutes of normal-time to play but there was still just enough time for Zaha to be the hero.
The result leaves much for both teams to be proud of and yet both with plenty of questions as the season progresses.
