The £25 million summer signing has returned to action at Melwood, while Mario Balotelli looks to have settled in perfectly.
It looks as though Liverpool's 3-1 defeat to Manchester City hasn't hurt them too badly.
Indeed, during training on Friday, the Reds squad were all smiles as they prepared to face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Perhaps that was due to the fact that they now know they have an international striker in Mario Balotelli ready to partner Daniel Sturridge - or perhaps it was because Adam Lallana has returned to training.
The England midfielder, signed from Southampton for £25 million this summer, had been ruled out of the opening part of the season due to an injury sustained in pre-season. Now, however, Lallana is back in business, training with a Liverpool squad that looks as united as ever.
Head tennis was the order of the day on the practice pitch, as the likes of Balotelli, Lallana, Lazar Markovic, Emre Can, Dejan Lovren and more joined the seasoned regulars at Melwood.
Brendan Rodgers, meanwhile, was also full of cheer as he discussed Liverpool's preparations for Sunday with captain Steven Gerrard.
Spurs are currently top of the Premier League table after two games, having beaten West Ham 1-0 and thrashed Queens Park Rangers 4-0 at White Hart Lane last weekend. In fact, Mauricio Pochettino has so far won every one of his four competitive games as Tottenham boss, although the Reds should provide them with much stiffer opposition.
Last season, Liverpool beat the north London side by an aggregate score of 9-0 over two league games. Here are the best images from training...
