A round up of transfer stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
The Daily Mail claims that Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck is keen on moving to Tottenham.
The England international forward has been strongly linked with a loan move to Spurs over the past week.
He could join on a season long loan which would offer Tottenham attacking support and different options up front.
Reports suggest that Tottenham Hotspur are no longer interested in signing Alex Song from Barcelona.
Spurs were thought to be keen on a swoop for the former Arsenal man but Mauricio Pochettino appears to have pulled the plug on plans to get him.
It could be a sign that Pochettino is determined to hold out for a move for Morgan Schneiderlin of Southampton in the future.
Tottenham may not push on to sign Welbeck because of Harry Kane’s form in the first team.
Pochettino has admitted that he believes in the 21-year-old striker who is aiming for his breakthrough season at the club.
“It is possible always we find to give balance to the team and add some players but not too much until he end of the transfer window. I always believe in Harry,” said the boss.
