September's Games with Gold for Xbox are definitely worth your time

Halo Reach Screen 01

Microsoft's free Games with Gold program steps it up a gear.

Word dropped of next month's free games you can pick up on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but wait, don't be so hasty, you still have a couple of days to pick up August's free games so make sure you do that before Monday.

Now, let's take a look at what Microsoft are offering Xbox 360 owners in September. First up you'll be able to download Monaco: What's Yours is Mine from Monday 1st September, and Halo: Reach will be available from 16th September.

For Xbox One owners you'll be getting Super Time Force, which replaces Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut from this month. Crimson Dragon will still be available as a free download, continuing from August.

September is definitely looking stronger than August with the free titles on offer. Monaco is a brilliant top-down stealth game that's great fun with friends, and Super Time Force is a side-scrolling shooter that only came out on Xbox One a few months ago. And I hear that there are a couple of people out there that enjoy Halo, so Halo: Reach should satisfy them, right?  We'll give you more details about each of the games, and remind you when they're available, next week.
