September Xbox One update rolling out now

Xbox One

Microsoft's latest update for the Xbox One is now available to download.

A bunch of new features are in the new September Xbox One update, and an overview video has been released that explains a handful of them.

Some of the features include a new media player app, that allows you to play media files from an attached USB - supported file formats include MKV, Mpeg TS 2, and animated gifs, with more being added by the end of 2014.

The Party app has been upgraded too, allowing a party leader to be set, who will be able to change various settings within the party.

The Upload app now allows multiple GameDVR clips to be deleted at the same time, and users can also change the settings to enable the Xbox One to boot straight to TV when turning it on.

Take a look at the update video below, and head on over to Major Nelson's blog for more info.
