Ubisoft announce AC: Unity to launch two week later than originally planned.

Assassin’s Creed fans waiting to get stuck into Arno’s open-world assassination adventures will have to wait a little longer than expected according to Ubisoft.

The publisher has announced that the AC: Unity release date will now be 11th November in North America and 13th November in Europe, moving the date back from 28th October .

"This being a fully next-gen game, it requires a lot of work, a lot of production, and a lot of learning," said ubisoft’s Vincent Pontbriand in an Ubiblog post.

"It's always hard to be precise and to quantify exactly how much work is involved. So as we get close to the finish we often realize we're near the target but we're not quite there yet."

The AC: Unity team will continue to work after to game ships to in preparation for a Day 1 pacth "that offers even more improvements to Unity"
