Square Enix's newest remastering of the franchise gets a new features trailer.
Mixing Square Enix's Final Fantasy universe with the Disney universe, what a genius concept. And that's exactly what happened back in 2002 when the first Kingdom Hearts game was released on PlayStation 2.
There was remastered version released on PlayStation 3 last year too, called Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix. It included Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories in HD with full PS trophy support.
Now Square Enix are set to bring a new HD remastering of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix to PS3 this October in Japan, and December elsewhere.
The game will include the trophy support like the 1.5 Remix, and will obviously be in full HD. A remastered HD version of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded will be included in a Theatre Mode too. Check out the trailer for the game below to see a glimpse of the new challenges, bosses, and cutscenes.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix is due for release on 2 October in Japan, 2nd December in the US, and 5th December in Europe on PlayStation 3.
Final Fantasy and Disney is a genius mixture. Are you a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series, and will you be getting the new HD remastering?
