Microsoft have announced that their motion sensor gaming peripheral device is being sold on it's own this autumn.
A few months back Microsoft announced that they'd start selling their Xbox One console without the Kinect device, whereas previously it came bundled together with the console.
Now the company has announced the Kinect device will be available for purchase on its own this October. The sensor will come with a copy of Dance Central Spotlight as a digital download. The Kinect with with the game will be priced at $149.99.
Since dropping the Kinect device from the console bundle Microsoft announced last month that doing so has paid off, seeing sales of the console more than double in the US.
The Kinect will be available to buy on its own on 7th October 2014 for $149.99. A date and price for the UK is yet to be announced.
