A deal has taken some time to agree, but Leeds United may soon be welcoming exciting Brazilian talent Adryan to Elland Road.
The 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Cagliari, where he played a limited role, and was scheduled to remain in Sardinia, but he now seems set for Yorkshire.
New Cagliari boss Zdenek Zeman made it clear to Adryan that he won't have a first-team role this season, prompting his agent to open talks with Leeds around a fortnight ago.
Cagliari agreed to let him leave, but Adryan is owned by Brazilian side Flamengo and they have been taking some time to weigh up the switch.
Adryan will arrive on a season long loan and could be a massive acquisition for Leeds, who have endured a miserable start to their campaign with just three points from four games in the Championship.
Their potential new boy has often been compared to former AC Milan and Real Madrid star Kaka and reportedly once turned down the attentions of Manchester United.
