We compile the best photos from Bradford City's victory against Leeds United.
Leeds United slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Bradford City in the Capital One Cup last night, which piles more pressure on head-coach David Hockaday.
The Whites were dealt a blow early on, when Luke Murphy picked up two bookings for rash challenges and they never truly recovered from his sending off.
Although Hockaday's side battled hard, they posed very little attacking threat and could only muster one shot on target during the whole match.
At one stage, that soliatary strike did appear to have been enough to win them the match – with Matt Smith heading home in the 82nd minute, but they could not hold on.
Almost immediately Bradford leveled through Billy Knott and from the restart they scored again – with James Hanson powering a header beyond Stuart Taylor in the Whites’ goal.
It was a soul-destroying way to lose a cup-tie to their Yorkshire rivals and the calls for Hockaday to lose his job are becoming more vociferous after this latest defeat.
Here are some of the best photos from a devastating night of League Cup action for Leeds, but one which Bradford will remember for years to come.
