Arsenal's Champions League group was announced on Thursday, and it is a well balanced group from which they will hope to progress.
The Gunners drew Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray and Anderlecht.
Key to their chances of progression will be their matches against the German runners-up, who they won one and lost one against last season.
Lose both or pick up just a solitary point and they will be under real pressure against Galatasaray particularly, a match which promises to be a tough away trip, but their qualifiers against Besiktas ensures they have had the ideal preparation and will not be underestimating them.
Anderlecht are expected to be the whipping boys of the group but have a number of dangerous players to watch out for, not least Serbian striker Aleksandr Mitrovic who was linked to Arsenal a year ago.
The tricky element will not just be qualifying, but emerging as group winners, with Dortmund doing so last season.
Finishing second as Arsenal have found to their cost in two consecutive years has the potential to put the club on a collision course with a tough side in the knockout rounds, most recently Bayern Munich.
Arsenal's players have been reacting to the news on social media, with Aaron Ramsey noting the familiarity of Dortmund who he hit the winner against away from home last season.
Per Mertesacker appears to be excited to clash with the Germans once again, while for Mesut Ozil he has his chance to head back to play in Turkey after missing the away tie to Besiktas.
Here is a look at how they responded:
Some familiar and some new teams and grounds to travel to. Can't wait to hear the @ChampionsLeague anthem again in September, bring it on!— Aaron Ramsey (@aaronramsey) August 28, 2014
