Five players who could dump Arsenal out of the Champions League

Marco Reus

Arsenal's Champions League opponents have been revealed, with Arsene Wenger's side facing Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray and Anderlecht.

The Gunners qualified for the Champions League group stage with a 1-0 win over Besiktas on Wednesday, and have been handed a tricky group. Today's draw saw them matched up with Borussia Dortmund - who they faced last season - Galatasaray and Anderlecht, all sides with rich history in European competition.

Arsenal fans will be expecting to make it through the group stage yet again, but there are a number of players in the group who could send them home packing at the first hurdle.

Mats Hummels, Borussia Dortmund

Arsene Wenger's side will need to break down the Bundesliga giants, and whilst Arsenal possess some talented attackers such as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, they will come up against the outstanding Hummels. The 25-year-old is strong, quick and confident on the ball, and Arsenal will find it hard to beat the German international when the sides meet.

Marco Reus, Borussia Dortmund

After the departure of Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski over the last year, Reus is clearly Dortmund's most potent attacking player. Reus, 25, has hit 42 goals in just 90 games for Jurgen Klopp's men, and Arsenal's defence must be wary of the German international if they are to take points off Dortmund.

Wesley Sneijder, Galatasaray

Whilst not the player he was back in 2010 when he was the star of Inter's run to the Champions League title, Sneijder is still capable of hurting teams with his passing ability of eye for goal. The 30-year-old moved to Galatasaray in January 2012, and has racked up 21 goals and 10 assists for the club since.

Burak Yilmaz, Galatasaray

Since Didier Drogba's departure back to Chelsea this summer, Yilmaz is definitely Galatasaray's top scoring threat. With 50 goals in 83 games for Galatasaray, Yilmaz is a huge danger to defences, and will be looking to add even more goals to his already impressive tally against the Gunners.

Aleksandar Mitrovic, Anderlecht

One of the most highly rated young striker in Europe, Serbian Mitrovic is only 19 but already has eight caps for his country following his goalscoring exploits with Partizan Belgrade. 20 goals in just 45 games for Anderlecht is an impressive record for someone so young, and he has the ability to be a threat against Arsenal.
