Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Pochettino eyes Song loan move, Dawson set for exit?

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham are reportedly considering a loan deal to sign former Arsenal star Alex Song.

Mauricio Pochettino is thought to be keen on adding a holding midfielder to his squad before the close of the transfer window next week.

Spurs look set to be unsuccessful with their hopes of signing Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has confirmed that he’s back in the race to sign Spurs defender Michael Dawson.

Dawson was linked with a move to the Tigers earlier in the summer but nothing materialised from the rumours.

However, with Spurs on the verge of a deal for Sevilla skipper Federico Fazio, Dawson could be allowed to leave White Hart Lane.

Chelsea and AC Milan are thought to be leading the race to sign Tottenham linked Mattia Destro.

The Roma striker has been linked with a move away from Serie A heavily over the last two weeks.

Spurs have been trying to add firepower to their attack and Destro is reported to be one of the club’s many targets.
