Liverpool to win the League? Na, na, na, na na na na, na na na na.— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 25, 2014
Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has had a laugh at Liverpool’s expense following Brendan Rodgers’ side’s loss at Manchester City.
The Reds went down 3-1 away at the Etihad Stadium, suffering their first loss of the season and conceding ground in the title race in the process.
Morgan responded to the defeat by questioning Liverpool’s ability to win the Premier League this season.
He also touched on Luis Suarez’s departure to Barcelona, suggesting the Reds won’t be the same despite the recent £16 million arrival of Italian striker Mario Balotelli from AC Milan.
Things don’t get any easier for the Reds with a trip to a revitalised Tottenham Hotspur side this weekend where Balotelli could make his debut for his new team.
Morgan will be hoping that Arsenal’s local rivals will do Arsenal a favour because it’s far too early to judge Liverpool and their chances of domestic success in the league this season.
