Mario Balotelli may have been officially a Liverpool for less than a day, but he seems to be getting on well with his teammates.
The Italy international joined the Reds from AC Milan on a long-term contract for a reported transfer fee of £16 million on Monday.
Balotelli was not available for Liverpool’s Premier League clash against his former club Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, but that did not stop him from attending the match.
The 24-year-old travelled to the stadium with two of his new club teammates, Jon Flanagan and Adam Lallana.
The former Inter Milan star posted the following photo on Instagram with the message: ‘@jonflan38 #lallana going to stadium’.
At the Etihad, Balotelli was seen meeting up with some of his former City teammates including Pablo Zabaleta and watched the game from the directors’ box.

It did not make for a happy viewing for Balotelli, though, as Liverpool went down 3-1 to defending Premier League champions City.
Stevan Jovetic scored the first two goals for Manuel Pellegrini’s side and Sergio Aguero added a third on 69 minutes, while a Zabaleta own goal seven minutes from time saw the Reds bag a consolation strike.
