Listings suggest Rocksmith 2014 is headed to PS4 and Xbox One

ESRB and Zavvi both list versions for 8th gen consoles although Ubisoft have so far only mentioned Rocksmith 2014 is coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Ubisoft’s guitar sim, Rocksmith 2014 could be coming to PS4 and Xbox One.

US ratings board, ESRB has listed the game for Sony and MIcrosoft’s latest consoles and PSLifestyle has also pointed out an entry on UK retailer, Zavvi’s site for a new gen version.

Rocksmith 2014 is the follow-on from  the original Rocksmith game released in 2012. The game allows you to play with a real guitar which is plugged in via a USB adaptor.

The Rocksmith sequel is set to include new features such as Automatic Tone Switching, Articulation and an Instant Riff Repeater.

If you own Rocksmith already, you will be able to transfer the songs over to Rocksmith 2014 at an additional charge. Any DLC you’ve purchased for Rocksmith so far can also be played in the new game for free.

Rocksmith 2014 is due to release on 22nd October in North America and 25th October in Europe. So far Ubisoft have only confirmed the game is coming to PS3, Xbox One, Mac and PC.
