Last week we saw Lara Croft making her way back into the UK Xbox One charts with the Tomb Raider reboot, which we can only link to the announcement at Gamescom that Rise of the Tomb Raider would be a timed Xbox exclusive. Whether it was or it wasn't, it's always good to shake up the recently-stagnant charts.
This week we see more of a shake-up in the form of a new number one - Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, which was newly-released on Xbox One last week. I actually bought the game on Sunday, and since not playing the original on PC since it came out two years ago, the Xbox One version has reignited my love for the title. HITC's Steve Reynolds also named it our PS4 pick of the week too, so it's definitely worth a look no matter what platform you have to play it on.
Elsewhere in the charts all we see is a drop down in place for all the other titles, apart from Watch Dogs and Tomb Raider which stay firmly put. Plus we have the return of Ryse: Son of Rome in at number ten, knocking EA Sports UFC out of the top ten.
The top 10 games in the UK for Xbox One, according to the Chart Track games charts as at 23rd August 2014, are below:
1 DIABLO III REAPER OF SOULS ULTIMATE EVIL
3 FORZA MOTORSPORT 5
4 CALL OF DUTY: GHOSTS
5 FIFA 14
6 WATCH DOGS
7 BATTLEFIELD 4
8 TOMB RAIDER: DEFINITIVE EDITION
9 SNIPER ELITE 3
