Manchester United's £60m+ Di Maria deal opens door for Vidal, agent warns Juventus of Real interest

Juventus could have Real Madrid to worry about when it comes to the future of Arturo Vidal, thanks to Manchester United's move for Angel di Maria.

Juventus may be rubbing their hands together at Manchester United splurging £56 million on Angel di Maria, for it should ensure they have moved their attention on from Arturo Vidal.

It's possible the Red Devils intend on making a move for the Chilean midfielder also, but it's more likely the incoming Argentine will be United's one big addition this summer.

However even given United walking away from Vidal, their deal for Di Maria could trigger another seismic move in the transfer market.

Italian football agent Riccardo Badia believes that landing a jackpot sum for Di Maria could lead to Real Madrid entering the market to sign Vidal.

He told "I'm convinced that the Chilean will go away with a great offer.  I would say to Real Madrid if they sell Di Maria, at that point the people of Madrid have the right money to take Vidal.

"I believe that Ancelotti knows how to manage well all these great champions, Vidal would make yet another great Madrid team."

It's questionable whether Madrid would make such a deal, having already spent big on James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos this summer, but receiving such a large amount for Di Maria could convince them to explore their options.

Their interest in Vidal is however a matter of record, after Chilean legend Ivan Zamorano revealed in June how Real president Florentino Perez quizzed him on the midfielder: "When I came here six months ago Florentino asked about him and I told him I'd sign him with my eyes closed. He's an extraordinary player and would be great for Real Madrid."

Knowing that Sami Khedira intends to quit the club in a year when his contract runs down, Real have motivation to add another top class midfielder to their side and become truly unstoppable - unless United intend on showing more ambition of their own and adding him to Di Maria.
