The Spurs winger scored twice against Queens Park Rangers, prompting a rethink from supporters.
Is it finally Nacer Chadli's time to shine!?
The signs are certainly promising for Tottenham Hotspur after the Belgian's double against QPR on Sunday.
Spurs beat the Rs 4-0 at White Hart Lane, where former manager Harry Redknapp could only bow his head in disappointment as his side were outclassed by Mauricio Pochettino's men. And it is two wins out of two in the Premier League for Pochettino, whose side sit top of the table for now.
Eric Dier added to his goal against West Ham last week, while Emmanuel Adebayor completed the scoring during the 4-0 triumph. But it was Chadli's brilliance - with a little help from Erik lamela during the build-up play - that stole the show in north London.
Indeed, many Spurs supporters had to swallow their words as the 25-year-old proved his doubters wrong, tweeting nothing but praise for him after the game.
Next up for Tottenham are Liverpool - also at 1.30pm on a Sunday at White Hart Lane - and Chadli and co. will have to produce another strong performance against the side that beat them twice convincingly last term.
At this rate, though, the sky is the limit after a 100 per cent start under new boss Pochettino.
Here's a selection of the best fan reactions after the game...
Chadli's goals, Dier, Adebayor, Eriksen smashing the crossbar and Lamela with the assists. What a lovely day #THFC— Jack. (@Not_anIdiot) August 24, 2014

Would be lying if I said I didn't huff when I saw Chadli's name on the team sheet prior to kick off, glad he proved me wrong #THFC— Tim Gibney (@TimJamesGibney) August 24, 2014
Lamela, Capoue and Dier we're brilliant as well. Chadli must've had something special for breakfast - proved me wrong, played well.— Nick Harden (@NickHarden92) August 24, 2014
